NCAA Insists on Ban on Night Operations for Helicopters
The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has remained unwavering on its rejection of request by helicopter operators’ for night operations, describing it as unsafe. With about 700 technical administrative staff and support personnel, NCAA through the directorate of aerodrome and airspace standards oversees the regulation of aircrafts operating environment, including air traffic control (ATC), communication, navigation and surveillance standards.
