Glo Mobile subscribers are to enjoy 20% bonus airtime in a new promotion called Special Easter Offer.
Jagatjit Singh, Globacom’s marketing director, said that the new promo which will run till April 15, 2009, offers 20% free Glo to Glo airtime on every recharge above N100.
The 20% bonus translates to N100 free airtime for every N500 recharge card denomination and N200 for every N1, 000 recharge card.
A subscriber who recharges with the N2,000 denomination will be given N400 free airtime while the N3,000 recharge denomination attracts N600 free airtime. On the other hand, every N5,000 recharge attracts a bonus airtime of N1, 000. Glo subscribers can enjoy making Glo-to-Glo calls using this bonus.
Singh said the Special Easter Offer was launched to celebrate the Easter Season and reward subscribers for their loyalty to the network. He added that the gesture marked Glo out as a caring network as it was the most generous offer so far in the industry.
Glo Mobile had offered a similar promotion as part of its 5th anniversary celebration in August last year. In the offer, recharges of over N500 attracted 20% bonus airtime.
The network also offered its subscribers opportunities to win special gifts in its Valentine promotion concluded last month. The promos were tagged "Valentine Getaway Promo" and “Valentine to Valentine Offer”.
In the Valentine to Valentine Offer, all existing and new customers on the prepaid and postpaid platform who recharged with N500 and above daily qualified for a daily draw to be part of the lucky 100 winners who would be given N1,000 worth of airtime every month until the next Valentine in 2010.
On the other hand, the Valentine Getaway Promotion offered subscribers the opportunity to be one of the lucky five who would spend an all-expenses-paid weekend with their partners at the prestigious Obudu Cattle Ranch in Cross River State.
