Visafone’s Fantastic Bonanza Offer came to a close on Tuesday January 13, 2009 with four lucky winners emerging at the 4th & final draw. The event, which held at the serene Civic Centre, had in attendance a large audience of Visafone subscribers, gentlemen and women of the press and well-wishers.
The draw yielded four more lucky winners of Kia Rio saloon cars bringing to 12 the number of cars given out by the wholly Nigerian owned mobile phone company in what has been hailed as the most authentic consumer promo in Nigeria.
The lucky winners who emerged at the final draw were Jumbo Eric (Port Harcourt) with Visafone number 07025222433; Mrs. Olasunkanmi (Okokomaiko, Lagos) with Visafone number 07041190863; Muhammed Jibrin (Kano) with Visafone number 07025468181 and Joy Scott (Benin) with Visafone number 07025638729.
The Visafone Fantastic Bonanza was flagged off with fanfare on October 13 2008 and new subscribers as well as old ones who recharged their phones with at least N400 monthly were eligible to win the brand new Kia Rio cars on offer.
Visafone commenced commercial operations on Feb 22, 2008 and has garnered a record-breaking 2.5 million subscribers in just 10 months thus making it the fastest-growing mobile phone company in Nigeria.
