BID2WIN Kia Rio Winner Commends Glo

 Mr. Aji Kalau James, a staff of Diamond Bank, Gombe branch, was overawed with joy as Globacom took a brand new Kia Rio he won in the ongoing Glo BID2WIN promo to him in the presence of his colleagues and friends.
At a brief ceremony within the premises of Diamond Bank in Gombe, James disclosed that the car was a befitting present for him and his wife, having just got married last November 21. He said he would gladly yield the car to his wife to use since he already had a car.
The car was handed over to James on behalf of Globacom by Alhaji Suleiman James, special assistant to Gombe State Governor in the presence of Diamond Bank staff, Globacom officials and other well wishers.
James, a native of Borno State who was until January 31, 2010 a staff of Intercontinental Bank, disclosed that he actually got the inspiration to participate in Glo promotions from a former colleague when he was working in Intercontinental Bank. His colleague way back then had won a brand new Peugeot 307 from Globacom and was always cruise it round town. He disclosed that he did not find it difficult to get texting when the BID2WIN promo began a few weeks ago.
He revealed that within a matter of days, he had spent N36, 400 on sending his bid messages to 300 as required, adding that his bid amount of N4.83 must have won him the brand new car.
Just as had been done for James, other prizes in the ongoing Glo BID2WIN are to be moved to the towns or village of residence of winners where they would be presented in the full glare of the public, including their friends, colleagues and family members.
The new subscriber reward package tagged, ‘BID2WIN’ is uniquely designed by the telecoms giant to excite its subscribers and enable them win mouth watering prizes by competing with other subscribers in a specially designed bid process. The lowest unique bid will win the daily prizes in the promo.
Glo subscribers with the lowest unique bids for various categories of prizes will emerge winners’ everyday with prizes worth over 2 million naira. Every 18 days, the prizes will be changed to make the promotion more exciting.
18 brand new Kia Rio cars were the prizes on offer in the first segment of the game. For the second segment which started on Wednesday, March 3rd, 18 brand new Toyota Yaris will be won by subscribers while three other categories of prizes to be won are being kept under wraps for now in order to heighten the excitement.
Subscribers can bid for the prize on offer through short messages (SMS). They are required to simply text their unique bid to a short code, 300. Such a unique bid must be the lowest exclusive offer which no one else bid for the item on offer. For example, send BID N1.25 to 300.
Globacom said that subscribers can send as many sms as they wish to increase their chances of winning.
Bonus prizes of airtime are being distributed to thousands of other subscribers on the network. These include over N180 Million worth of Glo to Glo airtime for 6,000 subscribers. While 5,000 subscribers get N200 airtime totaling N1 million daily, another 1,000 subscribers get to win N1,000 airtime totaling N1 million daily.
