IBM, Microsoft, Others in 2014 FinTech Top 100 & Top 25 Enterprise Ranking

IDC Financial Insights on Tuesday, announced the final 2014 FinTech rankings for top 100 and top 25 Enterprise, Nigeria CommunicationsWeek can report.  

For more than a decade, IDC Financial Insights has evaluated the revenues of the leading global technology and service providers to the financial services industry in order to construct The FinTech Rankings.

The most comprehensive global vendor ranking within the financial services industry, the annual FinTech Ranking is based on calendar year-end revenues and the percentage of revenues attributed to financial services.  

New this year, IDC Financial Insights has teamed up with leading publication Bank Systems & Technology to offer a series of articles that discuss the FinTech Rankings and significant trends impacting the market this year.

Over the course of the next three months, IDC Financial Insights analysts will provide expert commentary based on the results, to add color and context to the rankings and encourage a closer look at the premier companies featured. 

“We are thrilled to announce the 2014 FinTech Rankings, our eleventh year of compiling and analyzing financial performance to present the who’s who in financial services technology globally,” said Karen Massey, senior analyst, IDC Financial Insights.

According to Massey, “The financial services industry is continually under pressure for improved customer experience, financial performance, and efficient risk management and compliance. The FinTech Rankings showcase those providers that are effectively and successfully meeting the needs of their institution clients.”

The 2014 FinTech Rankings Top 10 include, FIS, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd,  Fiserv, Cognisant Technology Solutions, NCR Corp, Infosys Ltd, Diebold, SunGard Data Systems, Nomura Research Institute Ltd Wincor Nixdorf.

While the 2014 FinTech Rankings Top 5 Enterprise are IBM, Hewett-Packard, Dell, Microsoft and Accenture‎.
