Jumia.com.ng, Nigeria’s number one online retailer on Tuesday announced the launch of an ‘order tracking tool’ on its website, in a bid to better customer experience
Olamide Amosu, public relations strategist for Jumia.com, said after being nominated for the World Retail Awards, the Company is set to improve the customer shopping experience.
The track tool is where customers can easily log in and check the status of their orders without having to call customer service. “This new tracking tool will be available to all that place orders on jumia.com.ng.
“With the Innovation of the ‘order tracking tool’ it will bridge communication for the company with customers online; where they can follow up with the different stages of order processes, also with an estimated delivery time from status online,” Amosu said.
The new tool can easily be located on the header of the Website. “You can directly access the Order Tracking Tool Here,” the statement read.
Founded in 2012, Jumia has grown to be the fourth most visited Nigerian website and has over 1,500 employees in four countries.
Barely month ago, Jumia launched the largest e-commerce campus in West Africa spanning over 10,000 square meters in Lagos, Nigeria. Only a few weeks ago, Jumia got nominated for the World Online Retail Awards 2013 in two categories.
