KITS Technologies has planned a Data Centre design and audit seminar event for Saturday 1st March 2014 at the Sheraton Hotel in Lagos.
The seminar will afford delegates deep insights into the latest data centre standards and best practice with full understanding what can go wrong in a Data Centre if there is lack of a complete understanding of data centre design and operations.
Taofeek Okoya, director, Business and strategy, said that the seminar will no doubt enlighten and broaden the knowledge of IT managers and Data Centre Managers alike on critical actions to take to reduce drastically data centre failure. Industry Standards and best practice will be deeply explored as it relates Data Centre Tiers and energy efficiency; Why data Centre fails, common data centre failures and how to quickly resolve; When an audit is due and what audit exercise should reveal will be exposed to all participants. The event would equally be used to celebrate the success of Data Centre Expert certification qualification since it was made available in Nigeria few years back. The qualification had since made participants / delegates a better Data Centre managers and auditors in various Data Centre across the nation.
Furthermore, he said that KITS Technologies will be holding this unique event in conjunction with his Data Centre Infrastructure and technology partner Capitoline LLP of UK.
It would be held immediately after the completion of the latest Data Centre Expert qualification course which will be running between 25th February and 1st March at the Sheraton Hotel in Lagos.
It is no news that Data Centre goes wrong and the statics is on the rise year in year out, hence it has become a big concern for Data Centre practitioners like KITS to continue to raise the awareness bar higher than it used to be; explain best ways to mitigate this costly, avoidable and serious threat that could dealt a huge blow to all the commendable and giant strides made to the Nigeria’s growing broadband penetration, cloud computing and cashless economy.
