Chike Onwuegbuchi, deputy editor in chief, Nigeria CommunicationsWeek has emerged editor of the Year (Online) at The Africa Digital Awards (ADA) held over the weekend in Lagos.
According to ICT Watch Network, the organizers of the award, ‘Chike Onwuegbuchi emerged winner among other editors nominated for the ward because of his in-depth knowledge of ICT industry determined through his analytic reports in both Nigeria Communicationsweek and The Guardian.’
Tayo Adewusi, founder, ICT Watch Network,said that the award is bestowed on ICT editors who have distinguished themselves in reporting of ICT industry and described Chike Onwuegbuchi as a key driver of Nigeria CommunicationsWeek that has become the most influential technology and business online and newspaper in Nigeria relied upon by industry regulators and decision makers for credible source of news and information.

The African Digital Awards (ADA), is an annual event since 2010. The award, which is part of Nigeria ICT Impact CEO Forum was coined out to appreciate industry’s stakeholders who have leveraged the potent power of Information and Communications Technology to scale in their various businesses.
