Pumoh Unveils Eclipse Range of Smart Devices, Exclusive Franchise

Pumoh Exclusive Online Services, a tech-savvy company and leading online shopping mall, has emerged the exclusive distributors of UK-produced Eclipse range of feature phones, smart phones, smart tablets and smart watches in the Nigerian and African markets.

This led to the unveiling of the products on Tuesday at Pumoh’s Ikeja, Lagos office. Among the dignitaries in attendance was Engr. Fidelis Onah, director, Technical Standards and Network Integrity, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).

While addressing the guests Barrister (Mrs.) Umoh Adingwupu, Pumoh’s managing director, said the new range of smart devices is set to revolutionize the mobile technology market as they parade value-packed features that will see users enjoying seamless experience from personal entertainment to business functionality.

She informed that the range of smart devices include two tablets, two smartphones, one feature phone, and one smart watch. “As we say in Eclipse Smarts, soon there will be two kinds of people; those who use computers & smartphones and those who use Eclipse,” she enthused.

On the product features, Adingwupu noted that although the market is currently filled with all kind of products.

She expressed confidence that the Eclipse will stand out because they come with extra value for the user and the production as well as product testing have passed through thorough quality control processes to ensure users enjoy great aesthetics, high-level functionality, super-durability and portability.

The tablet range includes the Eclipse Tab 7 and Eclipse Tab 9. Both runs on upgradable Android OS and the slates are handy, sleek, feather-weight and very easy to carry and handle.

While the Tab 7 has a 7-inch high resolution touchscreen display, the Tab 9 has a 9.6-inch HD touchscreen with a whopping 120 hours of battery life, among other valuable features.

The smartphone range includes the Eclipse Ice 2 and Eclipse Dlite P5. For entertainment lovers, Mrs Adingwupu said “the Ice 2 is designed to make everything easy and beautiful. One marked feature of the Eclipse is its crystal clear screen and dual-facing camera with super-predictive moves. With an unbeatable battery life of up to 7 days and Andriod 5.1 Lollipop OS, the Ice 2 will be a force to reckon with in the African smartphone market”.

The Dlite P5 packs together great entertainment features plus awesome capabilities for business – serving as a handy machine strong enough to take on the task of the professional’s everyday work and doing so with great ease.

Another phenomenal inclusion in the Eclipse smart devices is the Eclipse Combo 3. According to the MD, the Combo 3 is nothing like any other feature phone ever seen before. It is a feature phone that can browse the internet and social media.

It is equipped with dual SIM slots, self-sustainability, and charging capability, which also makes the Combo 3 a power bank. “With the Combo 3, you have a phone that does all the basic things, gives you access to the Internet and also serves as a power bank to charge other phones,” she informed, adding that “only Eclipse offers this combo features pack.”

She also emphasized that with the global rise in wearable technology, the Eclipse range of smart devices does not exclude the smart watch. The Eclipse smart watch promises user-friendliness, non-invasive display, attractive design, and easy connectivity with other devices, as well as effective security.

The core objective of introducing the Eclipse range of smart devices into the Nigerian and African markets, Adingwupu informed, is to make life easier for users.
