Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, popular TV reality game show, anchored by Frank Edoho has got the Internet version where subscribers to the mobile operator can participate in the game show through the Internet.

Femi Ayeni, chief executive officer, Ultima Limited, producers of the programme described the initiative as an innovation that is aimed at rejuvenating the educational and recreational online habits of Nigerians every where.

Ayeni said " Millionaire Online is an exciting new game cast in the format of the most popular TV game show in the world and which has become the most watched shows of its kind in Nigeria consistently over the last four years".

The Internet version of the game show provides the same TV experience even though it has its unique features. Participants are allowed to choose timing or period within which they wish to play and not limited by space. In fact, they can play even in the comfort of their rooms using their mobile devices including phones, computers, and other internet –enabled devices.

Information from the producers reveals that players of the online game show that score the highest point each week gets a reward each week. While the highest scorer carts away N20,000, the next two high scoring participants will be rewarded with N10,000 each. The player with the highest cumulative score in addition wins N50, 000 with two other high scoring players also walking away with N20, 000.

Winners of the weekly and monthly prizes on the internet may also qualify to play for N10 million on the hot seat in the live version of the game show.

Adunola Ajuwon of Ultima Limited disclosed that interested participants only need to text the word PIN to 345 from their mobile phone and immediately three numbers will be given with which individuals could use to access the game’s website at www.millionairenigeria/onlinegame.com.
