Wincor Nixdorf Releases Cost-Analysis Tool for Banking Application

A new analysis tool from Wincor Nixdorf International provides financial institutions with cost information related to its self-service infrastructure.

According to a news release, the new tool, called Total Cost of Ownershipe for Self-Service Retail Banking (ToCOSS), calculates and analyzes expenses related to implementing, maintaining and operating complex self-service solutions.

The tool analyzes hardware, software and services. ToCOSS outlines a number of investment scenarios built around an array of parameters and adds in expenses that will be incurred over the entire product lifecycle of a self-service network.

The new tool helps banks forecast what impact migration to multivendor applications or integration in multichannel architectures will have on total cost of ownership. The bank’s IT managers can then base their decisions on solid analyses, Wincor Nixdorf says.
