Computer Warehouse Group (CWG) has won the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Solutions Provider of the Year Award.
The company was honored with the award recently at the Beacon of Information and Communication Technology (BOICT) award event organized by Nigeria CommunicationsWeek to honor deserving talents, who had over the years, showed commitments towards the growth and development of ICT in Nigeria.
Tagged “Honors to Deserving Achievers,” the organizers said the awards were given to Nigerians and corporate organizations that have contributed in no small measures to the growth of ICT industry.
Honoring CWG with the award, the organizers of the event reaffirmed the company’s position as a reputable ICT company that is open in all her dealings with her clients/customers and enthusiastic for her outstanding leadership which has placed the company on the global map.

The changes would not have been possible without the diligence and commitment of an organization such as Computer Warehouse Group Limited. The Pan African ICT Company has over the years helped put Nigeria and indeed Africa on the global ICT map,” the organizers said during the citation of CWG.
The awards, the organizers added, was to motivate various stakeholders in effective utilization of ICT for citizen’s services and ensure that ICT professionals were provided a benchmark for recognizing and validating outstanding contributions.
Computer Warehouse Group has played significant role in the telecoms industry and has consistently differentiated itself as a first class organization as evident in its track record. The group believes and pursues an excellent service culture that there is but one global standard and that is why it has gone through the ISO 9001:2008 certification process across the whole group, being one of the first IT firms to get the certification.
CWG said it had been on track in achieving its goal of becoming the Number 1 IT Utility Provider in Africa by 2015 and that it would soon spread to more African countries, having established its presence in Nigeria, Ghana and Uganda while rendering services to other African countries.
Receiving the award on behalf of the group, General Manager of Computer Warehouse Limited (CWL), the hardware arm of CWG, Adedayo Abegunde, thanked the organizers of the event for the feat bestowed on the group. “Computer Warehouse Group Limited shall deliver ICT solutions that will add value to our customer’s operations, meet and exceed our customer’s expectations and we shall always deliver on demand,” he said.
