MTN Nigeria has amplified efforts to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians and make their lives even brighter with a revamped Season of Surprises.

At a colourful ceremony on Sunday, December 2, 2018, the company unveiled Season of Surprises 4.0 designed just for everyone.

The 2018 edition was heralded with an unannounced visit to Giwa Barracks in Ikoyi where staff of the company led by the Chairman, Dr. Pascal Dozie showered gifts, including foodstuff, generators and more on officers of the Defence Head Quarters and their families.

Speaking on the campaign, Ferdi Moolman, Chief Executive Officer of MTN Nigeria, explained, “Season of Surprises is MTN’s way of expressing its philosophy of care and commitment to make life brighter for Nigerians.

“It was borne out of a need to create something that will not only positively affect customers but also the nation at large.

“The company wanted to bring smiles to people’s faces. Beyond that, it is also an avenue to remind Nigerians of the essence of extending a helping hand to the next person.”

Commenting on the company’s preparedness, Chief Marketing Officer, Rahul De described Season of Surprises 2018 as improved with broader touchpoints to reach more Nigerians.

“We have dedicated resources to make this year’s edition more impactful and brightening for Nigerians.

“We have resolved that we will end this year by causing over 400, 000 Nigerians to smile from the joy we bring to their neighbourhoods through our unannounced visits.”

This year, the company and its staff have committed to widen the scope of the surprises with various trips and activities to over 30 states in the country with the sole aim of touching the lives of Nigerians through well-orchestrated activities and gifts at moments least expected.

The initiative will run for three weeks in December with visits to various locations across Nigeria.
