Mitsumi Distributions has pledged to bring top of the range service delivery to DellEMC customers in Nigeria and Ghana.

Speaking at the event that herald the partnership in Lagos, Sujal Desal, Regional Product Manager, Mitsumi Distributions, said that, what they intend to bring to DellEMC portfolio is technical support that no other competitor in the market could bring, adding that the partnership made them distributors of DellEMC whole portfolio in Nigeria as well as in Ghana.

“There are a lot of distributors, who are our competitor in this market, what we are bring in this particular market is the technical support because other distributors do not have this kind of facility, where they will provide pre-sales  services as well as technical support to the market.

“so there are so many partners here in Nigeria, they want to do the business of EMC, they want to supply EMC portfolio but they don’t have particularly the support on the sales side, on the service side and on the pre-sales side.

“So Mitsumi is covering the whole complete portfolio with the support and after sales services as well .

“We have the pre-sales team, they are basically around Nigeria only, as well, we have the technical team here in Lagos also, they can provide after sales also.” He stated

Desal, noted that the event was to help their partners to configure the EMC solutions, and assist them to even close the opportunity with the end users, and also assist them to get the price quoted budget from EMC team.

He said also, that they will be helping their partners to deploy the solution in Nigeria as well as supplying it to Ghana.

He stated that their customers are government sectors, oil and gas sectors, financing and banking sectors.

He added that their work is to help these customers to understand the requirements and show them that going forward for another five or ten years, if they are stick with DellEMC technology, how the technology will give them success, not only with these requirements that they are having at the moment but going forward from five to ten years more, how they will succeed with the solution.

“Our company is located only in Lagos, all our expatriates and all our local staff sits in Lagos but we provide remote area support as well.

“If our customers require onsite support, we have engineers who can fly or go by road to provide them support, apart from that, we have a team who sits in Lagos but they remotely assist on any kind of requirement our customers may need actually”. Desal added

He noted, that the difference between Mitsumi and other competitors is that, they try to give very expensive solutions, top of the range solution to customers without giving the basic solutions, adding that what is required is starting with basic solution and then upscale it, whenever the customer required.

Desal, added that the beauty of EMC technology, is that you can start with the minimum requirement and you don’t need to change the technology, you can only upgrade the technology as at when required

“For our SME’s customers, we suggest our partners to go to them with the technology needs, if there is a storage requirement specifically, they can start with unity 300 and they can upscale it up to unity 500, there is no issue or harm in doing it because this kind of technology they really have to fulfill the requirement of what they have at present and if they have future requirements the same technology will help them.

“So they will pay as at when require, they don’t need to pay everything upfront at the moment and then they have to wait for another four to five years when the requirement will come their way.”

He stated that they are successful in Nigeria since they close the partnership deal with DellEMC.
