Bovi Charges Youths on Becoming Glo Ambassador

Globacom brand ambassador and ace comedian, Bovi Ugboma has charged Nigerian youths to focus on self-development and become masters of their fields in order to get the best things of life, including signing endorsement deals with conglomerates such as Globacom.
Bovi gave the charge during a question and answer session with fans at the Globacom pavilion at Bar Beach, Victoria Island centre of the ongoing One Lagos Fiesta, sponsored by Globacom.
Responding to a question of what his experience has been as a Globacom ambassador and how an aspiring entertainer could break into that big league of signing such a huge endorsement deal, Bovi said the focus of such an aspiring entertainer should be to achieve excellence in his chosen field of endeavour.
“Brand endorsement relationships are symbiotic in nature,” said Bovi, who confirmed that he signed an endorsement deal with Globacom in July 2015. He explained that the relationship is ‘give and take,’ adding that Globacom as a company loves to associate with artistes whose work speaks for them.
Bovi said it is Globacom’s way of reaching out to the youth and motivating them to attain excellence in their chosen fields.
The comedian, whose appearance at the Glo pavilion attracted many youths in the vicinity including up and coming artistes, advised Nigerian youths to focus on becoming masters of their fields and refrain from chasing fame for the sake of it. He warned that achieving fame before achieving industry mastery and professional excellence is the reason many supposed stars fizzle out quickly.
The comedian urged Nigerians to learn to grow organically and leave the rest to God.
Two other Globacom ambassadors, namely, Basketmouth and Burna Boy also took turns to entertain various questions from their fans who stormed the Globacom stand.
At the Glo pavilion at the Ikeja centre of OLF located at the Agege Stadium, a popular Nollywood actor and Globacom brand ambassador, Adekola Odunlade entertained Glo subscribers who swarmed around him on the stage.
He advised the crowd mostly youths to shun social vices that would endanger their lives and embrace hard work if they want to grow in life. He signed autograph for over five hundred of them as he took photographs with them.
Globacom is the major sponsor of the One Lagos Fiesta which has been happening in 5 locations across Lagos.
Globacom has been providing first class entertainment at its stands at all the locations, namely, Bar Beach, Ikorodu Town Hall; Badagry Grammar School; Agege Stadium Premise and Epe Youth Center.
The grand finale takes place on Thursday, when the countdown to the New Year will be officially done. Top artistes who will be on parade at the Grand Finale include the Marvin Crew, Olamide, African China, 9ice, Sound Sultan, Baba Dee, May Dee, Y Cee, Jaywon and Dr. Sid, among others.
