Microsoft Hosts Intellectual Property Day Roundtable
Microsoft Nigeria said, it will be organizing a roundtable to discuss the value of Intellectual Property (IP) with special focus on its importance in building economies, as governments and organizations all over celebrate this year’s World Intellectual Property Day.
Tagged, ‘IP protection is about fair competition’, Microsoft said with a fair and level playing field, talented individuals as well as small and mid-sized companies across Africa and the world over, will not only compete successfully against wealthy and more established multi-national companies, they will create jobs, improve people’s lives and transform humanity.
Part of lines up activities for the day Microsoft will be celebrating individuals whose ingenuity has broken moulds, highlight businesses that are in danger of extinction due to the acts of piracy, new crop of developers and how they need stronger laws that can protect their inventions.
